Dr. Gupta completed her bachelor degree in 1997, Masters and Ph.D in 1999 and 2005 in Environmental Sciences from Gurukul Kangri University, NET in Environmental Sciences (2005) from ASRB, New Delhi. She has been nominated for the Award of Research Internship in the Central Building Research Institute Roorkee, under the CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Interns Award Scheme. Dr. Gupta has also worked as a Research Intern (from 2005 to 2007) in E.S.T. and C.P. Division (Materials evaluation laboratory) of C.B.R.I. Roorkee. She has eighteen years’ worth of research and teaching experience in various Physicochemical and Microbiological parameters (soil, water, Fly ash and cement) and involved in R&D activities of Environment and waste utilization.
She has successfully presented 31 research papers in international and national journals and 20 research papers in various conferences, as well as being awarded a Young Scientist Award by the Indian Academy of Environmental Sciences in the year 2005 and from the Society for World Environment, Food and Technology (SWEFT) new Delhi India. In 2019 she also got a gold medal, and got first prize in UGC SAP Seminar. Dr. Gupta has published three book chapters and is currently supervising Ph.D. Research Scholars.
